some of you may have seen those hi-top sneakers kanye was rockin last year sometime- the parisian design house that brought that shoe to you was lanvin; a notable high-end brand & big name in high fashion menswear showcase. today it was reported that the companys CEO, paul deneve, has resigned from his position. seemingly, the split between both parties was a result of creative differences. formely president of nina ricci, joining lanvin in 2006, deneve is the second departure from the companies also recent departure of frederick lukoff who is now president at stella mccartney. now i wonder who will become the new CEO. i think its interesting to see a successful brand running into so many obstacles. in any case, i love the ad that has multiple lanvin models- but then you take a second look & its the same model with different hairstyles- he`s just multiplied! genius. here`s hoping that the search for the next CEO is a successful & expedited process. if they need someone im always available. i would have to brush up on my french though. i passed in high school with a D! & i think that was because the teacher felt sorry for me.
