if any of you know sex & the city enough to have seen the film, you know about the dress. yes, the dress in which carrie was given by design god vivienne westwood for her wedding. no doubt the dress was insanely ill & no doubt westwood is damn good at what she does- but she wants more. rumor has it she has put in calls to SJP about nabbing the screenplay. maybe im underestimating the skills she has for writing screenplays but so far ol` viv has been waiting by the phone. no confirmations as to whether shes even being considered. you have to wonder how or what made her want to be a part of the second film so bad. maybe she wants to incorporate a more fashion driven scenario for the picture. i dont know! im just makin shit up in my own mind. the thing about it is- i know SATC like the back of my hand & we have all gone on journeys with these women, we know their personalities because the talent of the writers has brought us the heartbreaks, the clothes & the cosmos consistently by having the same creators, well, create more in the legacy the show has spawned. how well do you think vivienne would fit into all of it, i mean- seriously. its not like just something fun to do, though im sure it is. but in the same sense its a business risk to add a new player of her status to the equation. as if it wasnt enough that kim catrall & SJP were rumored to be fighting over payscale or even something so simple as to whether or not there will be a second movie. i guess we will have to see.
