another model from major model management;
you may have taken notice of ryan from his work with ralph lauren, in print & also on the official website shop.

richard chai has become well known for his role in the launch of marc by marc jacobs,
he re-built the TSE fashion brand & was a vogue CFDA finalist last year.
i love this collection, again- with the dark color palette & i like the different textiles used as well.
if you dont know who he is, again, do some research he`s poised as one of the top empire line designers.

this collection, for me, is the perfect example of womenswear.
de la renta does it the right way & sticks to what he knows best. classic, chic, stylish garments.
i love the leather skirts, the skunk looks incredibly stylish & im not one to opt for skunk, i love the metallic shoes.
following are my selections. if your not familiar with oscar`s work i suggest you do some research.

alice burdeau, winner of australia`s next top model. & she`s always looked like that. believe it!
ps. she won hella days ago, im just posting for the benefit of those who aren`t aware.
she`s walked in shows for Dolce & Gabanna & even landed their fall ad campaign last year. among other things.
have you seen any of america`s top models do that?
still the baddest.

what i like most about this collection is its luxury appeal. michael kors seems to speak to the jetsetter type- you can totally see these looks coming off of a private jet or strolling through LAX or NYC. classic chic. my selections..

something different was happening here this season. i loved the colors, dark is my thing get off it! one of the looks in particular had a unisex quality to it. i loved the textures used in the coats & the combat boots grew on me as i neared the end of my viewing the collection. i`ve already confessed my love for proenza schouler bags & i dont eeeven care if they are for women; i`d rock one. it has a masculine element to it which, duh, i find hot. this collection presented classic elements based on futuristic ideas & concepts. i loved it.
follows are my selected images for the fall 2009 collection.

this collection for me was seemingly vintage inspired & made a good attempt at presenting something grand, something regal. i dont know how wise it was to go in this direction as these are hard times for many of us in the american economy; but i cant hate- if you got it flaunt it, i guess. though the couture-like overkill construction of the clothes isnt really my thing when it comes to ready-to-wear, i can appreciate the collection for what it is.
following are my hand selected images from the fall collection.

i first got really interested in the designs of j.mendel after seeing the valentino-esque gown worn by eva longoria at the golden globes last year; this season, i selected the following images as standout pieces of the fall/winter showcase. enjoy.
