editorialesque » eniko rocks iconic items for italia

eniko mihalik is one bad bitch. she brings a certain element of sexuality to the images that she helps to produce. ranging from overtly sexual to quietly erotic, her photographic presence is felt in every image i have seen of her. its particularly important for a model to remain fashionable & poised in all elements of fashion photography- never coming off as distasteful or, excuse my french, coming off as a slut- eniko is able to evoke sexuality while still maintaining enough glamour to print that shit in italian vogue. seen as the campaign face for max mara womenswear & H&M this season, eniko is represented by marilyn model management. she currently ranks no. 16 of the top female models of the industry. this editorial, which was featured in the august 2009 issue of vogue italia, was photographed by mario sorrenti. channeling a dark glamourous mystique, styling was done by jane how.

editorialesque past » myf shepherd goes geisha

myf shepherd takes on the art of geisha in this amazing editorial for numéro tokyo in july of 2007. photographed by sofia sanchez & mauro mongiello, i love the detailing seen in the styling of the hair. popularized through editorial now more than ever, is the beauty & make-up choice of bleaching your eyebrows. in this case, i think it looks really chic. though not always apporpriate, that small beauty element draws more focus in on the eyes of the model. amazing images & well executed concept, this editorial is among the list of myf’s growing resume. she has also been featured this season in the gucci girl filled ad campaign, as well as sonia rykiel’s fall 2009 ad campaign. she is represented by next models ny.

teyana taylor for married to the mob

teyana made a debut to the public on MTV’s, my super sweet sixteen. signed as an artist to pharell williams, star traks, taylor has created a blogosphere buzz with her image & celebrity affiliations. often appearing in pharell’s BBC in public, teyana’s style has evolved from street to feminine in the past couple of months. walking in miami fashion week’s disel show sometime last year, teyana has a different look for female modeling. sparking interest in & out of the fashion & music industries, teyana is seen here for the fall 2009 collection for womenswear apparel company, married to the mob. i think a major attribute to her street style is her hair, her standout features set her apart from other chicks. as an artist, she’s completely refreshing. listen to “complicated” from teyana’s album, “a planet called harlem”.
