editorialesque » v magazine gets sized up


the next issue of V magazine will represent full figured women at a different level. through the lens of sølve sundsbø, ford models candice huffine, marquita pring, michelle olson, tara lynn- as well as kasia of click models, all appear in high end fashion pieces. the editorial was shot for V magazine‘s size issue. in addition to the images seen here are the other images of crystal renn & jacquelyn jablonski; which was posted here not too long ago. i love the images & think the styling of nicola formichetti along with hair & make-up by ester langhum & frank b. were spot on. the images are simply beautiful. beauty of all types, through incredible showcase- i live for it. the size issue for V magazine will be on newstands january 14th, 2010.

natalie portman for elle uk


one major exception in my resistance for the dreaded ‘celebrity fashion cover’, is the beautiful natalie portman. im so intrigued by natalie, her intelligence, her beauty. everything. whether queen amidala or a pregnant chick in walmart, i love seeing her films. here she appears for the february 2010 issue of british elle. shot by david slijper, i love the cover option & cannot wait to see the editorial that accompanies the issue. the hair, the top- its all so chic. the fact that the image appears in sepia is even done tastefully. natalie can be seen in theaters now in her latest film, “brothers” in which she plays an army wife caught in a dangerous love triangle with her husband, whom she thought died in battle, and his best friend. fuxwidit!

editorialesque » hannah holman for vogue russia


represented by elite model management, hannah appears editorially for the january 2010 issue of russian vogue. shot by liz collins, the images look very similar to the work i’ve seen with david sims & vogue. with that said, i love this edit. the way the red in contrasted in every shot is very chic. i love the usage of accessories & though i could stand to see the hair done differently, i still manage to find elements i love about this spread. hannah delivers editorially & i look forward to more  of her killer ways on camera in the new year.

jacquelyn jablonski is fast becoming one of my favorite female models in the model game. i love this edit for russh magazine & appearing alongside jacquelyn is marilyn agency’s erin heatherton. jacquelyn, whom is represented by ford models, kills this spread. russh is an australian publication so the whole surfer concept is picture perfect. shot by benny horne, the 80′s style of the edit was executed by stevie dance. between the sexy body suits & visuals of both a blonde & brunette, there is no reason to hate on this spread from any standpoint. i love it to the tenth degree. the yellow is very summer & i love the image quality.

sasha pivovarova for vogue méxico


represented by IMG model management, sasha pivovarova appears for vogue méxico’s january 2010 issue. following closely behind december’s heather marks issue, the new issue hosts reprints from past issue of american vogue as well as editorials from china. shot by patrick demarchelier, pivovarova will definitely have another great year. this marks her 2010 beginning.
