dree hemingway of elite model management represents the valentino brand for the spring season of 2010. shot by mert + marcus, the campaign takes an unexpected dark direction; i love the whole dark concept that the valentino brand is going with. among the tactics being used to resurface the style signatures of the brand, the darkness represented in the campaign images seen here pulls away from what we’ve known of the italian fashion house in the past. i think the creative team of valentino is doing an excellent job at introducing a new era in design. those touches of purple are completely chic as well. fashion editing by karl temper, with hair & make-up by luigi murenu & lucia pieroni.
