fall collections, new york: badgley mischka
by Jeremy Danté
always showcasing refined womenswear, badgley mischka presented their latest collection for the fall/winter season in new york. showcasing a red, blue, black & neutral color palette the collection lacked cohesion along the same lines of monique lhuillier. piece by piece, look by look, the collection really presented singular looks without clearly translating a precise fashion story or general vision. that said, badgley mischka understand formal womenswear detailing like no other. a fair collection for a fall season; an impressive model casting including an opening with siri tollerød & a cameo from arlenis sosa. within the collection, runway look 18 is my favorite. basic bitches need not apply, only seeking the baddest of all bitches.
