the giambattista valli resort 2011 collection presents a representation of knowledge learned & skills sharpened. we see valli’s technical knowledge for volume & color, also seeing great showcase of silhouette & shape. dipping into use of animal print; the collection palette is kept very simple but not a single element of chic is spared. i really admire the style that valli’s collection produce; while simplicity is something many designs can achieve by simply leaving things out, giambattista always manages to keep it simple while never lacking style. a very good collection for the resort season; im very anxious to see what will be presented for the upcoming spring show season. collections like these define timeless style. i love it.
