collection images: burberry prorsum, pre-spring

as the summer/spring season approaches we are getting anxious as a fashion audience & fashion houses are channeling our anxiety. pre-season collections were more active this year than ever before, historically. with the rise of the resort pre-season came vacation apparel options & even after those lines have debuted, some fashion houses are releasing pre-season collections on top of that. thus is the case with burberry & their pre-spring prorsum collection. the collection itself build upon the expectation of burberry clientele- signature trench coats are matched to the modern fashion age with slim fit trousers & a darker palette. though simple & completely expected, i love the set & look forward to seeing how new concepts are fused to the burberry brand signature. the set presented here is kept falutlessly chic & very traditional. a solid set overall.

represented by women model management, mariacarla boscono appears for the july cover of russian vogue. shot by sharif hamza with styling & fashion editing by simon robins, the cover is captivating. i love the blue tones & low saturation seen in the image & mariacarla always gives off that effortless poise. her natural poise on camera might be attributed to the fact that she has some background in theatre. ranking at no. 4 within the top 50 female models of fashion, you might also recognize mariacarla from this seasons FW10 campaigns for both lanvin & givenchy.
