aline weber for numéro tokyo

through the lens of sebastian kim, aline weber appears for the june cover of numéro tokyo. represented by next models ny, weber made her runway debut back in 2005 at new york fashion week; where she walked for tommy hilfiger & jenni kayne. as a top model, aline is represented internationally by a number of agencies & continues to book campaigns, cover & editorials in her climb to the top. born in brazil, aline is one of the most versatile females in the game & im super juiced to see what else is in store for her feature editorial. while i could use a bit of text reconfiguration for the, ‘we love japan’ – numéro tokyo remains atop my list of favorite editorial publications. consistent with bookings throughout the year- aline has recently made an agency jump going from women model management to next models ny. now with agency mates with karlie kloss & arizona muse, next models ny has more than demonstrated their apt ability to make stars out of their girls- which is that much more exciting for an established chick like aline. seductive signature bone structure & all, aline is a star on the rise.

kate moss for vogue paris

through the lens of mert + marcus, kate moss appears for the may cover of vogue paris. clad in armani prive with male hands surrounding her, kate flourishes through yet another year & another cover. seen against a bold red backdrop with a red lacquered lip to match, moss continues to defy the limitations of age, consistency & model demand in booking covers & campaigns effortlessly each season. editor in chief, emmanuelle alt continues to thrive in her efforts to represent a new, redefined interpretation of french vogue & i feel a greater sense of high-end, commercial glamour with her vision. it’s polished, still chic & new ideas are presented- with roitfeld, it was almost like a parisienne seduction, with emmanuelle it’s a full force presentation of clothes & supermodels. love the cover, the addition of arms add that extra boost. represented by IMG, kate currently ranks as the no. 2 female model icon while holding the rank as fashion’s third highest earning.

julia stegner for vogue germany

shot by alexi lubormirski, julia stegner of IMG appears incredibly beautifully for the may cover of vogue germany. framed in gold tones with an anonymous male model jawline- the cover is everything i expect a high fashion magazine cover to be. hailing from munich, germany- stegner has been seen everywhere from jones new york to maybelline throughout her career, which began in 2000 after she was discovered by a modeling scout during oktoberfest in munich. in 2002, stegner signed on with supreme model management & debut the runways of paris walking for yves saint laurent. with an indestructible track record & greatly established reputation on the scene, stegner ranks as the 17th highest earning female in fashion, sitting between karolina kurkova & anja rubik. from her commercial gigs with H&M & victoria’s secret, to her undeniably dope high end editorial presence, stegner is a fashion star & continues to shine for the month of may, representing her native of germany. i love seeing female models representing, as beautifully seen here. one of my favorite covers this year, for sure.

represented by women model management, isabeli fontana lands the may cover of vogue españa. greyscaled with shades of powder puff pink & maroon seen on the covers text, fontana appears in emilio pucci giving us a seductive backshot, through the lens of greg kadel. since her debut on the runway in 2009, isabeli has rapidly risen to the highest heights of high fashion as a cover girl & campaigned face while being runway ready every season just about. after having two kids & maintaining an outstanding presence in fashion, fontana ranks as the no. 17 female model icon while holding the rank for the 11th highest earning. isabeli is one of my favorite brazilian female models & im always thrilled to see her booking covers or campaigns. she remains one of the most consistent females photographically & on the runway. love this cover & she is killing that pucci.

malgosia bela for vogue türkiye

through the lens of cüneyt akeroğlu, malgosia bela appears beautifully on the cover of vogue türkiye for the month of april. in soft focus, surrounded by florals, malgosia is represented by next models ny & is of polish nationality. i frequently discuss the intensity of bela’s features & here they are noticeably more soft. from soft to hard, seductive to lens shattering- malgosia is having quite a year thus far into 2011. seen for campaigns for chloe, stella mccartney, ice berg & nina ricci- this is malgosia’s second cover for the month of april alone. ranking as fashion’s no. 9 icon, malgosia continues to solidify her status as one of fashion’s heavy hitting models & this cover is a beautiful piece evidence of that. this has to be one of my favorite covers, not just of malgosia but because of the surrounding elements that really accentuate the photographers vision. i respect nothing more than a model who is versatile. tremendously inspiring & phenomenally beautiful- living for this.

alessandra ambrosio for gq brazil

shot by gavin bond, supermodel sex symbol, alessandra ambrosio graces the april cover of GQ brazil looking something like a bond girl, equipped a thigh-straped knife while wearing a bikini & sporting the wet look as if she just arrived off shore. represented by elite models, alessandra is no stranger to the concept of brazilian bombshells & her presence in fashion, both commercial & high end, continue to swell each month, every year. as one of the world’s most popular victoria’s secret angels, alessandra has been able to tap into larger commercial markets & is steadily creating a larger presence in high end editorial as well as campaigns. she can be seen for the spring dolce & gabbana campaign alongside isabeli fontana, maryna linchuk & izabel goulart. while the cover is very typical of GQ, i can’t hate on alessandra’s hustle one bit. that said, ambrosio ranks as the no. 24 female model within the top 50, is the no. 10 highest earning & ranks no. 4 as the sexiest female in fashion.

kate moss for british harper’s bazaar

as britain preps for a royal wedding, harper’s bazaar puts kate moss on the cover of their may issue labeling her, fashion royalty. heavenly photographed  in mcqueen, i love how pure & soft both the lighting & kate appear in the shot. shot by sølve sundsbø, kate is joined by daphne guinness within the the ‘fashion royalty’ issue as they pay tribute to alexander mcqueen. this is one of two covers that have been published for this issue & this is my favorite of the two. while rumors swirl regarding the designer of kate middelton’s wedding gown, everyone from victoria beckham to alexander mcqueen’s sarah burton have all been named. we’ll have to see on april 29th, 2011 when the royal wedding takes place. a stunning cover & kate is timeless.

shot by greg kadel, malgosia bela appears on the cover of numéro alongside a cheetah for issue no. 122. against a golden bronzed backdrop, accented perfectly with a gold masthead. stunning & perfectly styled & poised, malgosia is one of my favorite females in fashion for her intense features & piercing eyes. represented by next models ny, malgosia ranks as fashion’s no. 19 icon & can be seen in spring campaigns for chloe, stella mccartney & roberto cavalli. looking like another great year, this cover is one of two that malgosia has booked for the month of april. the heavy liner accentuates maglosia’s eyes perfectly, one of my favorite covers of the new year. i always expect incredible photographic performance when i see malgosia’s name.

in an effort to create a more clarified branding presence, vogue nippon has decided to swap titles to vogue japan. nippon (日本国) is the native term for japan & is affectionately used to refer to the land of the rising sun. the change is quite the conversation piece given the recent conditions of  the japanese public, in light of their natural disaster. represented by IMG, supermodel icon kate moss appears on the publications beautiful may issue, through the lens of mert + marcus. soft & feminine, accented by a powerful statement lip- kate appears flawlessly & im sure that her feature editorial will deliver on the same level. known for having more polished & clean covers, vogue japan is one of my favorite publications to watch, as my own attraction to aesthetics mirror their own. im always stunned when kate graces a cover, so this time is no different. mert + marcus continue to slay the fashion photography scene, locking it down from every angle imaginable. kate is a fuckn star.

abbey lee kershaw for vogue russia

represented by next models ny, supermodel abbey lee kershaw appears for the april issue of russian vogue. through the lens of hedi slimane, kershaw appears stunning with bleached brows & platinum locks to match. during spring show season, abbey debuted her transformative efforts of going from her golden blonde into platinum on the runways of new york fashion week. initially, i thought it was a wig; though now the style has grown on me immensely. i love that abbey is one female who can adapt & morph into different looks, which afford her many opportunities for a range of clients in high end markets. from her work with chanel to her more edgy work with publications like dazed & confused or purple magazine, abbey is among the top females of modern day fashion. of australian nationality, abbey appears stunning on the april cover & has fastly become one of my favorite girls in fashion. abbey is not only april’s cover girl but is the current face for tom ford womenswear & hugo boss.
