shot by mario testino, kirsten dunst is a vision on the cover of issue no. 64 of V magazine. complete devastation & sheer perfection, i have never seen kirsten look this dope. rocking burberry, givenchy, balenciaga & dolce this is what celebrity covers are all about. channeling a bit of a vintage feel with some of fashions most modern pieces, this cover series is the shit.

angela lindvall appears in one of three covers shot for the 5th anniversary issue of W korea. shot in pink, in opposition of anja rubik’s blue cover & spread, angela shines with big hair & smoked lighting. represented by women model management, angela ranks as the no. 12 female model icon. for the spring season, angela booked & shot campaigns for hugo boss orange, the gap, brioni, lui-jo jeans & returned for a second season in a row as the face of jimmy choo. no doubt a chick with status, im happy to see that she landed a cover. images for the 5th anniversary issue were shot by david byun.

maryna linchuck & anne vyalitsyna appear for the march issue of russian elle. shot by joshua jordan, maryna is represented by DNA model management & anne represented by women model management. though i love maryna, i like anne’s cover better. i guess you can say i lean more towards the more minimal image. both are part of a cover series for the march issue; as seen, maryna’s reads beauty, while anne’s reads fashion. there is a third cover that reads, ‘family’ was released as well, with jennifer lopez gracing the cover. as an anti-celebrity cover advocate, i chose to leave that image out of the set, still feeling the need to give you the information. check for both chick in milan & paris for fashion week.
creative director of givenchy, ricardo tisci lands i-D magazine’s love issue with supreme model mangement’s mariacarla boscono. i like the cover, have always loved mariacarla & am considerably interested in givenchy & the creative direction of tisci; but i’ve had one outstanding thought in my mind. for those of you who watch my fashion reports, you know how i feel about ciara being the muse of ricardo tisci. now, no shade to ciara this is just a thought; if i was someone’s muse, i’d think i would be first pick to be seen on a cover alongside the person who has given me ‘muse’ status. wouldn’t you agree? now, within the same series as rihanna’s cover, as well as natasha poly’s, this is the third installment of the love issue cover series.

shot by mert + marcus, supermodel of all supermodels, naomi campbell appears on the cover for love magazine’s issue three. appearing for the fashion icon cover series, naomi is one of eight covers to be seen. as some of you may remember, i posted newcomer jeneil williams’ cover, in which she appeared doing the same exact pose as naomi. represented by IMG model management, no one can say anything about naomi, she is a living legend. her career has spanned beyond the limitations of modeling & she is known across the world as a black female icon. nothing & no one tops naomi campbell.

it seems as though vogue hommes japan will be releasing a cover series for their september issue. you may remember the other cover, which featured keith hernandez- that cover is said to be michael jackson inspired. the cover, seen above, features major model management’s travis hanson & was shot by steven klein. styled by nicola formichetti, the third issue of vogue hommes japan will hit newstands september 10th. i think if any male fashion publication was to garner the most credibility, its vogue hommes japan. im excited to see what the third issue will unveil editorially. you cant deny travis is killn it on the cover.
