 shot by paola kudacki for the vogue nippon august issue, hanne-gaby was shot alongside patricia & tao for this fall fashion blowout. capturing pure chic & undeniably sickening styling, the spread is everything i live & breath for in an image. styled by aurora sansone, the spread collectively presents complete looks from fendi, gucci, dolce & gabbana, chanel, bottega veneta, calvin klein, hermès, burberry prorsum, maxmara,  giorgio armani, ralph lauren, prada, dior, céline, miu miu & louis vuitton. each look captures the stylistic signatures of each label & each models serves on some top shelf shit. i am beyond words for this spread, though shot on a studio background- the clothing comes to life. we see movement, emotions & the purest form of style. a stunning set of fall fashion & a very inspiring editorial for the upcoming season. makes me anxious for the fall.

though im strongly opposed to posting images of celebrities, madonna & her high-end fashion affiliations are one major exception. interestingly enough, her SS09 campaign for louis vuitton is, largely, a reason why i began blogging. that said, i almost feel obligated to touch on campaign spots she’s booked. madonna appears for the SS10 dolce & gabbana womenswear campaign, after being cast for louis vuitton for both summer/spring & fall/winter of 2009. though the images aren’t as glamorous as one would expect; i like the unexpected direction the brand took. some say the brand could’ve done better in opting for a campaign in color; i think they made the right decision is straying away from bold colors. considering the fact that madonna’s FW09 spot with vuitton was highly colorized & given the direction dolce & gabbana took that very same season, usage of bold colors can become redundant. madonna is seen in a different light here, there’s an honesty in the images. but lets not get into the conversation of honesty too fast- i’ve seen the pre-retouched versions of this set. madonna is a superstar; & superstars of her caliber deserve the best of the best in photoshop & retouch technology. image is everything. campaign image credit to steven klein. & im feelin’ that ghosted dolce & gabbana logo too.

noah mills is represented by wilhelmina model management. he appeared for the fall/winter issue of l’officiel hommes italia, for this dolce & gabbana themed spread. noah has remained a favorite of the dolce brand appearing for the label both on the runway & in the campaigns. noah is one of my favorite male models in the game & its evident why- he’s stunningly handsome. he does extremely well in this spread & shines at a supermodel level. shot by milan vukmirovic, this is one of my favorite editorials.

noah mills: the return of the male supermodel

noah mills is one of the biggest male models of the current time. represented by wilhelmina model management, noah hails from baltimore, maryland. one of the most recognized faces in male modeling, noah has had considerable success in all facets of the model world. he’s appeared in campaigns for the gap, has had an incredible five season in a row enlistment as the face of michael kors alongside carmen kass & has appeared countless times for the dolce & gabbana campaigns every season. in addition to his extensive campaign resume, he holds a valued spot in male editorial. just this year he has appeared on the cover & editorially for russian GQ in addition to editorial cameos for l’officiel hommes, out, V, details, as well as GQ style & american GQ. after knowing his name & face, you’ll notice that he is everywhere. in a men’s fashion magazine, you might find that he’s on the cover- most covers accompany an editorial & im pretty sure while flipping the pages to get to the editorial you’ll conveniently  stumble upon at least one of his campaign images. true supermodels hold it down from all avenues, campaigns, editorials & runways alike. noah has walked for every menswear collection in paris, milan, new york & london; appearing for brands like michael kors, versace, D&G & dolce & gabbana. no supermodel would be complete without a segue into television & film. with that said, if you remember the sex & the city trailer i posted here a few days ago; you may have noticed a male in a tux in the previewed scene with samantha. that ‘male’ is noah mills. in interviews noah had expressed his desire to get into acting & it seems like he’s locked a solid opportunity down. the sex & the city audience spans both far & wide, the exposure that one can gain from an opportunity as such is immeasurable. after seeing the preview & noah’s face, i  gasped. im all for expanding a brand & for the model id. so when the movie is released you can thank me for knowing his name & face. that is, if you didnt already know his name. im not sure how large or small noah’s role will be in the new film, but any involvement with samantha is involvement enough. if the first film is any indication of what we’ll see here, some form of nudity will be seen. you can catch noah in the latest michael kors campaign as well as the dolce & gabbana menswear ad images, which will be released in a few weeks. mens fashion week is fast approaching & he will definitely be on the runways as well. im all about the model ID & noah is one model that you should know. definitely one to watch & one of my favorite male models.

madonna caused quite a stir when she appeared for the louis vuitton campaign & then returned for a second season. never one to hang onto one trend or look for too long, madonna has now moved on to the dolce & gabbana brand. appearing in the labels upcoming campaign madonna appears again, through the lens of steven klein. madonna was shot by steven klein for the vuitton campaigns as well. the spring ad campaign for louis vuitton enlists supermodel of the moment lara stone & above we see madonna in a very italian setting. an icon & constant transformer, this is a great move for her. the images are very classic & debuted on the dolce luxury magazine fashion site, swide.com.
