dominque hollington for hunter

represented by DNA models, dominique hollington appears for hunter magazine outfitted in givenchy with an unexpected smile. as an international men’s style publication, hunter magazine seemingly packs a powerful punch as the cover gives us a taste of what elements make-up their 18th issue.  from the creators of italian publication, the/end, it seems as though print is bigger & better than ever, in the world of fashion. glad to see dom gracing the cover, as he is a male model, i feel, the game has been sleeping on for quite some time. a new york native, hollington has been on the modeling scene for a minute, booking significant editorial spots for i-D, italian GQ & vogue hommes japan; as well as landing campaign bookings for bennetton, puma & the gap. once represented by red models, i am hoping that DNA, which is hollington’s new agency, readily tackles the opportunity to garner him even more success as a developing male model icon. dominique is a standout among other male models for his street but chic look. one of the illest males working in fashion today. i suggest you get familiar.

fall collezioni, milan: trussardi 1911

presented off-runway, the trussardi 1911 collections are always a sight to see. this season, similar concepts are presented as a palette of nude, black & red for contrast are added to a design filled with sleek leathers, sophisticated fur all with true italian style. creatively directed by milan vukmirovic, i love the modern approach to innovative style in combining a wide range of beautiful details like sheer textiles, leather handbags, leopard print alongside beautiful silhouettes. although i didn’t favor the gowns of at the close of the collection, the rest of the collection gave me such inspiration for style & a greater appreciation for the art of fashion design. though stylish & casual, the designs seen here are a combination of all the aspects i look for in fashion- bold concepts created with a minimal aesthetic & slight dramatization of classical style. stunningly stylish.

editorialesque » kate moss for british vogue

represented by IMG models, iconic supermodel kate moss headlines the september issue of british vogue. shot on a simple studio backdrop by patrick demarchelier, the greatest element of this spread besides kate moss herself, is the styling. we see kate evoking a bit of a rock & roll feel while giving her stylistic interpretation of the fifties. as a successful designer, kate moss has catapulted her iconic status into the stratosphere of superstars designing collections under her own name with distribution by top shop. as demonstrated here, years of moss being behind the camera have taught her a few things about style. even in outrageous fashion pieces, kate is undeniably chic. had this been any other female model, the spread would either be tacky or just plain boring. stars like kate moss are far & few, she is a piece of fashion history.

rosie huntington-whiteley for love

represented by women model management, rosie huntington-whiteley has had a commendably fast rise in the world of modeling over the course of the last six months. in addition to be enlisted as a victoria’s secret model, she’s landed campaigns for burberry, burberry cosmetics & loewe- as well as being cast to replace megan fox as the female lead for the transformers film series. landing the cover of the september issue of love magazine, rosie appears through the lens of tom munro in true pin-up girl form. her trademark full lips are candy coated with red lipstick & her face is gracing one of many for a love magazine cover series. i am in love beyond words with this cover. definitely one of my new favorites.

editorialesque » eniko mihalik for numéro

represented by the marilyn agency, eniko mihalik completely murders this editorial shot by miguel reveriego. animalistic styling was done by capucine safyurtlu as we see eniko transform from female model to living lioness. one thing i love about eniko is her versatility, she always displays amazing poise & inner strength in direction. she always elevates the feel & essence of a fashion spread. she remains one of my favorite female models to be shot editorially. of the top female models in fashion, eniko ranks no.9. i live for shit like this. amazing. the lighting, the warm saturation- perfection. standing ovation. devastation.
