fall menswear, runway: hermès

maintaining the hermès style signature, the FW10 collection hosts the black, blue & grey color story of the season. the hermès label took those color splashes further with their signature scarves & green, as well as red, collection pieces. with an established reputation for producing the best & their indestructible clientele base; the collection is both commercially acceptable & very chic. everything the hermès customer seeks is found in this collection designed perfectly for the fall. strong showing.

fall menswear, runway: tim hamilton

black & blue, the tim hamilton collection gives you dark glamour with their fall menswear set. subtle injections of glitz are mixed to tasteful splashes of a bold blue. i love the collections dark yet bright approach to the current menswear trends. we are definitely entering a dark age in menswear. the touches of grey provide enough buffer for the overwhelmingly black set. i literally, live, love & die for the last look within the collection set. a dope use of sparkle in a masculine way. dope.

fall menswear, runway: dunhill

sophistication through design was the theme i felt from the dunhill collection. hard core classic elements were showcased in the form of cardigans, camel coats, leather bombers & chic suit sets. i love the collection for its homage to menswear classic, this collection is among the best of the season. easily considered timeless, pieces like this our forever stylish & never out of season.

fall menswear, runway: cerruti

staying in-line with the trends of the season, the FW10 cerruti collection hosts brown, black & charcoal for their collection palette. wendell lissimore appears on the runway alongside clean design lines & structured coats. the collection hosted an interesting mix of weathered prints resembling rain clouds & rain fall. i love the mix of black & beige as well. a chic set.

fall menswear, presentation: balmain homme

picking up where they left off last season, the balmain menswear division centers their conceptual focus on the relaxed & work aesthetic. i love the casual elements seen in this collection; very distinct differences are seen with the menswear collection when comparing to the labels womenswear collections. relaxed & still every bit as chic, the collection- though small, is dope.

fall menswear, runway: raf simons

the raf simons FW10 collection presented a solid collection filled with futuristic construction. color blocked garments seperated the raf simons collection from other minimally designed menswear sets.  clean lines were a main theme, much like the rest of the collections we’ve seen this season. a fair collection, most of the concepts were executed well & though some risks were taken- the simons style signature was clearly pronounced throughout the collection.
