menswear collections: hermès, spring

by Jeremy Danté

always a defender of conservative chic, jean paul gaultier & the hermès design team produced a creamy summer/spring 2011 menswear collective. shots of green were mixed gently into the collection rich neutral & flesh tone palette. i found the set very charming & extremely classic. much of what hermès does is defined within a context of classic, the branding signature the house has established is among the most recognized & valued in fashion. though not particularly overwhelming, the collection is a pleasant one & very appropriate for the season to which is belongs. a wide range of looks done expertly well.
