spring collezioni: bottega veneta, milan

by Jeremy Danté

opening with a palette dragged in off the heels of fall, the bottega veneta collection begins with a deep palette of black & winds down through a shot of ice blue & cool greys. near the close of the collection, more whites & neutrals were used with a bit of print as well. i was very surprised to see how print would be used by more minimally aesthetic labels like bottega veneta in milan. here it was done slightly & still stylishly. i feel that more artistic vitality could’ve been added to the collection if a modern form of floral was used, but here the label manages to incorporate the seasons trend while still maintaining simplicity.
