spring prêt-à-porter: rochas, paris

by Jeremy Danté

based in high powered contrast, the rochas collection for the spring is one of interesting concepts. bold blues were matched to striking yellows while nylon covered legs were matched with gold footwear. the collection use of print was over the top & eye catching to say the least. suede, satin & patent leather were all textiles seen on the runway; i loved the variation of different prints used throughout the collection as well. the choice in colors that contrast from one another is complex enough to draw you in & challenge your perception. with use of white, black, blue, yellow, brown, pink, purple & beige- the palette is one of diverse flare. a great collection based on experimentation with color, print & textile. creatively valued for the spring season.
