collection images: burberry prorsum, pre-fall

by Jeremy Danté

equipped with a palette based in darker tones, the pre-fall 2011 burberry prorsum collection also hosts it’s share of vibrance. with sleek, slim trousers presented for both the men & womenswear divisions; an opposition of unexpected colors was presented. mustard yellows, militant greens & barked browns were seen against citrused oranges & pale peach. the signature trench made it’s expected cameo within the set in black, yellow, green while also being seen in fur as well as being printed with splashes of yellow & brown, in addition to being seen in a navy color while quilted & skirted. i loved the use of brown throughout, especially when concerning myself with the men’s footwear. overall, all the bases were covered for the label in the collection seen here. im sure the bar will be raised for the british label; im always excited to see how burberry redefines classic, every season. looks to me like the brand is one a long hauled winning streak; add this to the scoreboard.
