collection images: emilio pucci, pre-fall

by Jeremy Danté

known for prints & bold use of color, the emilio pucci succeeds in their mission to reinforce their iconic visual signatures. a lively palette is well balanced with use of fur, a seductive use of red & creative usage of sequins with etherial silhouettes. i love that an extension of design heritage is seen each season from the pucci label & yet, you’re able to have feel a connection of reinvention. that ability to reinvent is an element that can make or break you in fashion & ultimately allow your label to become a mainstay, as the pucci label so greatly has. the shapes & cuts give new life to classic vintage style & the pucci consumer is surely going to love each piece in this set. it’s interesting to see which designers stick to their guns from season to season, despite trends or fashion fads. of the lot, pucci is one of those that remains unaffected by the rest of the fashion world.
