fall collections, new york: willow

by Jeremy Danté

beautifully constructed pieces were presented for the FW11 season in new york by willow. with incredibly innovative use or print, an attraction to modernized silhouette was also seen through each look. structured coats were seen against additions of print as unendingly chic dresses entered the collection stage. shots of turquoise & teal were interlaced into the rich palette which seen a range of neutral tones matched to deep brown tones. the willow label debuted in 2003 at australian fashion week & showed at london fashion week the following year in 2004. as a growing, internationally recieved womenswear label; sleek attention to detail is seen each season & here, the willow brand has hit their mark. sharp direction, unbreakable skill & a developed understanding of what it takes to break new ground as a label in today’s modern fashion market is seen. as evidence, the labels FW11 collection is one of strong concepts, modern vision & beautiful design. very, very impressive.
