editorialesque » bogdan tudor for l’officiel hommes italia

represented by red models, bogdan tudor appears editorially for the pages of italian l’officiel hommes for the publication’s summer/spring issue. photographed & styled by creative genius, milan vukmirovic, the spread adapts multi-image layered concepts that i’ve talked about previously. as a new face in male modeling, bogdan landed on the scene in 2010 & is rapidly entering the high fashion editorial stratosphere. with bookings seen here for l’officiel, bogdan also appears editorially for the april issue of elle man & is represented in milan by d’management group. stylistically, the editorial seen here adapts different mediums & unexpected elements, interpreting them as art in the form of fashion. spewed paint, stained designs with print overflowing- im always looking to see how aspects of male editorial are reintroduced through experimentation.

editorialesque » dimitriy tanner for l’officiel hommes

first seen as an exclusive for calvin klein this past show season, dimitriy tanner is the newest face coming from soul artist management. shot for by milan vukmirovic for l’officiel hommes, dimitriy is seen outfitted in casual pieces which fit in with the whole theme of  ‘just easy’. i am in love with dimitriy’s look & always admire an all-american type of model. as an already rapidly rising force in modeling, dimitriy also walked for givenchy as one of the bleach blonde males cast for the label’s runway show for fall in paris. dimitriy is definitely one to watch & put on your model radar this year; im certain he is a star.

fall collezioni, milan: trussardi 1911

presented off-runway, the trussardi 1911 collections are always a sight to see. this season, similar concepts are presented as a palette of nude, black & red for contrast are added to a design filled with sleek leathers, sophisticated fur all with true italian style. creatively directed by milan vukmirovic, i love the modern approach to innovative style in combining a wide range of beautiful details like sheer textiles, leather handbags, leopard print alongside beautiful silhouettes. although i didn’t favor the gowns of at the close of the collection, the rest of the collection gave me such inspiration for style & a greater appreciation for the art of fashion design. though stylish & casual, the designs seen here are a combination of all the aspects i look for in fashion- bold concepts created with a minimal aesthetic & slight dramatization of classical style. stunningly stylish.

menswear collections: trussardi, fall

celebrating 100 years in fashion, the trussardi menswear collection presented via live feed today was one of great style & expert execution. creatively directed by fashion heavyweight, milan vukmirovic; the trussardi 1911 FW11 collection capitalized on leather, leather & yes, more leather. progressive with mindful classic elements, the collection allows masculinity to shine while style is not sacrificed. with rob evans of major opening the menswear show, clément chabernaud of wilhelmina closed while a walk & wave by vukmirovic lead the show to a black fade out. surprising, is the fact that a runway show & live stream were opted for as last season’s collection was shown through image look book with no runway. that said, the collections combination of dark details, raw style edge & clean tailoring shows that the label is entering a new era with a renewed sense of verver. a beautifully executed collection of menswear with a stunning cast of male models. milan vukmirovic is impossibly ill.
